About the Event
It's our District-wide Disability Awareness Week, held in honor of World Autism Awareness Day this past Saturday. Students will learn about a variety of disabilities throughout the week, and families once again have an opportunity to support Gerry's Cafe, Brewing Opportunities. We look forward to a great week of learning, sharing and empowering inclusion in our community!
Gerry's Cafe is getting close to its goal of opening an Arlington Heights coffee shop that will employ adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
